Janet Crofts serves as the Financial Director and Office Manager for the Muley Fanatic Foundation, joining the organization in January 2020. Born in Thermopolis, Wyoming, Janet was raised in Green River, where she graduated from Green River High School in 1993.

Following high school, Janet attended college in Colorado before returning to Wyoming to begin her professional career with Dowell/Schlumberger in 1996. During her 19 years with the company, she held a variety of administrative positions, building extensive experience in organization, management, and financial operations.

Janet met her husband, Jay, in 1995, and the two were married in 1996. Through Jay, she was introduced to outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping, which quickly sparked a deep appreciation for nature, wildlife, and the outdoor lifestyle.

From 2016 to 2019, Janet and her family lived in South Carolina, an experience that strengthened their appreciation for Wyoming and the western way of life. In 2019, the Crofts family returned home to Wyoming, and in 2020 they purchased their dream property in the mountains near Kemmerer, where they now spend much of their free time enjoying the outdoors.

Outside of her work with MFF, Janet enjoys crafting, outdoor photography, promoting outdoor opportunities for women, and spending quality time with her husband and their two dogs, Wahku and Hakela. Her passion for the outdoors and conservation, combined with her dedication and organizational expertise, makes her an invaluable part of the Muley Fanatic Foundation team.
