Joey Faigl | President/CEO | Co-founder

Joey Faigl was born and raised in the beautiful city of Rock Springs, Wyoming, where he continues to reside today. He graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1992, beginning a lifelong journey rooted in hard work, family values, and a passion for the outdoors.

In 1997, Joey began his career with Union Pacific Railroad, where he dedicated 16 years to improving and enhancing the company’s safety program. His commitment to excellence earned him numerous awards and recognitions, including prestigious national recognition in Washington, D.C.

In 2011, Joey co-founded the Muley Fanatic Foundation (MFF), where he served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Through his leadership and vision, MFF has grown into a nationally recognized conservation organization dedicated to mule deer conservation, habitat improvement, wildlife education, and preserving the hunting heritage for future generations.

Joey’s passion for mule deer began more than 40 years ago when, at just five years old, he discovered his first shed antler. Since then, he has devoted countless hours to studying, filming, and photographing mule deer throughout the West, further deepening his appreciation and understanding of the species and their habitat.

Outside of his professional and conservation efforts, Joey enjoys spending time outdoors, drawing wildlife, volunteering within his community, and supporting local youth sports. He is also a dedicated fan of Wyoming Cowboys football and takes immense pride in being a Wyoming native.

Although he has achieved many accomplishments throughout his life, Joey’s greatest priorities remain his Faith and Family. His relationship with God comes first, followed closely by his loving wife, Nikki, and their three sons: Brady, Brendan, and Hunter. Together, they cherish spending time outdoors and creating lifelong memories surrounded by the beauty of Wyoming.
